Radios for lone worker safety

How to improve lone worker security?

Employers' safety responsabilities

As an employers you are responsible for ensuring the security of your workers and have to "takes the necessary measures to ensure the safety and protect the physical and mental health of workers” (from article L. 4121-1 of theFrench Labour Code).

In the event of an accident, isolation of your workers remains a factor that intensify the damage, which is still too underestimated in terms of prevention. The protection of a single worker includes all prevention/intervention measures and procedures designed to meet this obligation.

The mission of an isolated worker alarm device (DATI) is to transmit an alarm corresponding to a situation considered critical by an isolated worker to a person or structure responsible for triggering.
Sensors are integrated in the DATI to detect loss of verticality, lack of movement…
The alarm message may contain information on the position of the isolated worker (GPS coordinates, beacons...) to facilitate emergency response.

The use of the DATI is of course done in a strict framework by following a simple procedure of emergency organization specific to each company, tested and validated.
